Veterans Roadshows Are Back for 2025!

5 February 2025

The Northern Ireland Veterans Commissioner’s Office (NIVCO) is pleased to announce the return of its Veterans Roadshows for 2025. These events are designed to strengthen connections within the veteran community and provide direct access to vital services.

What Are the Veterans Roadshows?

The Veterans Roadshows offer a face-to-face platform where veterans can engage with organisations dedicated to their welfare. The events feature representatives from:

  • Welfare Support Services
  • Health & Wellbeing Organisations
  • Peer Support Groups
  • Troubles Payment Scheme
  • Regimental Associations

…..and more!

Successful Start in Cookstown

We kicked off our first Roadshow of 2025 in Cookstown on Thursday, 30th January at the Royal Hotel. The event was a great success, with:

  •  Over 20 organisations in attendance
  • 100+ veterans connecting with services
  • A warm and welcoming environment for veterans to engage with each other and get the help they need

The newly appointed Veterans Commissioner, Mr. David Johnstone, took the opportunity to introduce himself, hear veterans’ concerns, and meet the many support organisations involved. The event generated positive feedback, and the atmosphere was one of camaraderie and support.
